Front passenger window stops intermittently when rolling up
2014 Forester. Front passenger window can only be rolled down using the passenger button. Then stops intermittently when rolling up. Any ideas?

Run channel is probably dirty, hence the window going up slow. When you’re rolling it up and it gets to very top hold the witch up for about 5 seconds.

Put silicone spray in window runs, reset windows limits as others have pointed out.

Back in my day, you had to hold the window button down until it went down to where you wanted it and same when you wanted it to go up!

The window probably had thought that there was a finger in the way. It will do that if you try to roll up the window and it automatically rolls down.
There is a set of instructions to reset the automatic windows: here is a thread and video
I had this happen to my old 2016 Legacy since one of the seals kept making the car thing there was a finger in the way and it worked like a charm.
