Idk why you expect me to be on Reddit 24/7, but the point the original person was trying to make was that such crimes aren't rampant and mentioned the law as an example for how long its been criminalized, and your response to that was "sure like laws stop criminals from existing". What is one supposed to infer from that, other than what I inferred from it?

That crime occurs in every country regardless of whether there are laws in place. You sound like those guys who act like racial discrimination doesn't exist because we have the civil rights act. My point was that even if you make something illegal that does not change the sentiment of people. The crazies will still do what they like. So again when are you gonna stop straw manning and actually take my argument at face value
