Spend more money than you make,
1)his casinos were so bad no one ever went there
2) he couldn't figure out the proper balance of money laundering to money coming in
3) it was a scam to make sure he got huge tax deductions for many many years
4) he's really just that stupid and has zero concept of running a business
5) his dad gave him so much money it didn't matter what happened and he didn't care.
6) it was other peoples money from investing (grifting) and trump got rich while somehow managing to use the "lose" for tax deduction
And last but not least (also my best guess):
7)he is so stupid he didn't realize the house is actually supposed to win he just wanted to have the "best" casinos by making sure they give away a lot of "awards" so that everyone wants to go to his casino (obviously the more people coming through the doors the better for his ego). He just figured he could comp them a night in the presidential suite instead of paying out, because, obviously, everyone just wants to say they spent a wonderful night at a trump casino, instead of actual money.
But to give an honest answer he is most likely owned by Putin and they were used as fronts to launder money.

A casino is a business, many have failed. The whole formula of gambling only works under very specific conditions. That's why specialized people run casinos.

He bankrupt 6 total businesses, one of which was a casino, but even so the point stands. You’d have to be giving money away daily to lose money as a casino owner.

Trump has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy for his companies six times. Three of the casino bankruptcies came during the recession of the early 1990s and the Gulf War, both of which contributed to hard times in Atlantic City, New Jersey's gambling facilities. He also entered a Manhattan hotel and two casino holding companies into bankruptcy.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy allows companies to restructure or wipe away much of their debt to other companies, creditors, and shareholders while remaining in business but under the supervision of a bankruptcy court. Chapter 11 is often called "reorganization" because it allows the business to emerge from the process more efficient and on good terms with its creditors.
If I'm reading this correctly I'm seeing 5 casino bankruptcies and one hotel. He bankrupted 5 businesses where "the house always wins"

He also bankrupted an airline, his scam "university" was shut down, and attempts to sell steaks and vodka also failed. His main "achievement" in business is in real estate, where he used daddy's money to ride a massive boom in property prices, but I believe there's some reports saying that he'd actually have made more money by putting it into an account and letting someone manage it for him.
He's never been a successful businessman, he just played one on TV. Unfortunately some people confuse that with reality

Be true if he actually knew business. It took only a few years after he inherited his father’s wealth for Banks to view any loan to him as toxic and why he ended up with oligarchs.

The tariffs are a political weapon, not an economic tool. They are having exactly the intended effect. It's just that trump has to sugarcoat them in excuses like "rebalance the trade deficit to make America great again" because he cannot possibly sell the idea to the Americans if he tells them the truth. If anyone still needs any convincing at this point that trump is working for russian interests, they deserve to be screwed over by trump.

The U.S. reported a $63.3 billion goods deficit with Canada in 2024. Canada exported $412B. Using Trump’s tariff equation we would get a 7.7% tariff required - this is why Canada was not on that chart.

Honestly, I think all this tariff crap is an effort to get a third term rather than to be economical. I do wonder if big companies apply for tariff-free imports, then to get it, have to contractually agree to support Trump for a third term.

The sad thing is, Trump has no idea what he is doing, he's not smart. He's being fed this whole plan, which he does not understand, by people with ulterior motives.
I do think Trump wants to do something that lasts and is positive for the United States, he just does not care what methods get used or he has to destroy to get there.
This is where Lutnick steps in, he's blowing sunshine up Trump ass with promises of the end result acting like "all you have to do is this" and probably with an attitude that is certain. He's not talking about the risks, he's not talking about what factors may and probable will come in to play to derail the plan, he's just painting a sunny picture where Trump is held in higher regard than Biden and Obama.
And that's the core motivator, because while i said he wants to do something positive, he only wants to do it to beat two men he irrationally hates, one made fun of him in 2014, and the other is old, and Trump can't stand that.
The exact same analysis can be said of immigration, just its Stephen miller not Lutnick.

I’m so tired of hearing that trump is actually benevolent he’s just got bad people around him. He selected these people for a reason. He spent his whole life being a racist fraudster that took advantage of the middle class and bankrupted every business he ever took part in. His only dealing that wasn’t a complete failure is a reality TV show, which is fitting.

Never said he was Benevolent. He is motivated to be loved, to be admired, to be "Better than Biden and Obama" To be considered among the greats.
To do that he wants the United States to be great. He wants everyone employed, making good money, the stock market up, and in return he wants to be venerated. His motivation is not Benevolent, he does not care about any one small group he demonizes or tramples on. He does not care how he gets there or how many people get hurt.
His manic desires have clouded his judgement with respect to his advisers, and being able to objectively evaluate the plans they have made, he to blinded by the sunshine they are blowing up his ass.
As i said, not Benevolent, a flaming ass hole who has no idea how to do what he wants to, surrounded by sycophants who are willing to suck up to make it seam like they are helping him achieve his goals.

Dog he’s crashing the market so his rich buddies can buy the dip. He’s not being tricked. This is the literal plan going exactly as planned. He doesn’t actually care about being admired or loved, he cares about power and money as evidenced from the 70 years of his life before he became president. Having a devoted sycophantic voting base is only important/valuable in so much as it allows him to be put in a position of power.
