[REQUEST] How many FPM does Daredevil hear in the city? farts per minute.

Daredevil can hear a gun cock from blocks away.

Is he hearing hundreds of farts per minute all day long?

A quick Google​ gave numbers in the teens for average farts per day per person. Once per hundred minutes makes the math convenient and at 14.4 per day falls within that range.

I'm not sure how far "blocks" are since NYC has more cross streets than N/S avenues so let's call it two E/W blocks or a radius of 1/3 of a mile. That's an area of pi/9 and Hell's Kitchen has a population density of about 60k/ square mile, so 21k people in that radius.

21k people times 1 fart per 100 minutes means 210 FPM.
