treatment Fasting Is Helpful

I've been doing IF for a few weeks now, and 24 hour fasts. I started a 3 to 5 day fast today. I have been doing it to see if I could clear a few issues unrelated to tinnitus, but I noticed it seems to be helping that as well.

I still use DMSO at least once a day sprayed into and around my ears, more frequently if tinnitus is triggered.

Sometimes I suspect it might be triggered by sinus issues- allergies, or just a stuffy nose. Fasting helps clear that, too.

This is not medical advice, but I have been researching fasting and its efficacy for many health issues is backed by multiple studies. Stands to reason it might help tinnitus, particularly if it is a new symptom.

I wish it helped mine. Done 3 day water only 2 times with no change.

I would not eat if it helped

Check histamine dao and bioflavonoids if fasting is helpful for you.

This may have some validity. Someone mentioned them recently here, and I began using both. The DAO, taken with meals is a histamine blocker (simply not eating helps me also, so histamine could be a culprit.)I don’t remember exactly what the bioflavonoids do, but I had lemon bioflavonoids and began taking both a week or so ago. My tinnitus has gone from really loud to loud but easy to forget about. I noted very little change earlier with just DAO.

So this wasn’t scientific, and many things affect my T and H, but I will keep taking them. It’s all trial and error, but worth a try.

Best is to drink some alcohol..If it helps your t then you have a gut flora problem and histamine related issues. Especially after using antibiotics it's common.
