I can't speak for diet, but 90% of the gym is just getting there. Start with just sitting on a bike for five minutes and scrolling Reddit. You don't even have to pedal. Just get there and do it. And keep doing it. You'll start pedaling, and soon you'll go because you just spent three weeks pedaling, feel good, and don't want to lose the momentum.
Also, nobody cares that you're out of shape or just sitting on a bike doing nothing. The worst thing that will happen is somebody comes over to tell you how to adjust your seat, call you bro, and tell you to hit them up if you need help. Any of you catch glancing at you is doing it because they're proud of you.

Bro if you work slowly towards the direction you want to go, you will see purpose. You’re the one person that’s the most important for you. Treat yourself as your only true friend. Cause there aren’t even guarantees of support from other people in this life, especially when we are at a low point. But when you will shine, many people will be there for you. As the other user said, you look great. If you lift weights and eat somewhat healthy you will become a hunk. Not that it’s the most impossible thing, but it definitely makes it easier being a man in this world.
