The study says there is an increased risk, not that reduced day length during gestation causes it.

You still gotta take these studies with a huge grain of salt. There's lots of other variables that correlate with day length.

The study isn't saying shyness is caused by daylength. It just says "linked".

It's the post title that's misleading. But that's a given in this subreddit.
