This is one of the kittens my husband rescued the end of Nov/beginning of Dec. He was driving & almost hit them running across the road in a rural area. They were only maybe 8 weeks old. I took them to the shelter b/c I didn't know if they were infected w/ anything & we already have 3 other indoor cats who have only had rabies vaxes. I filled out an app to adopt as soon as I got there to bring them in, though, & just over a month later they called me to say they were ready. They're fitting in nicely, 2 sisters. Our other 3 are also female sisters. We now have a whole herd of cats lol. Little gangsters. Her sister holds quite the grudge, she's taken to my son & only my son, the little gray and white one in t his Pic, "Tak", has taken to me. "Gaz" is the other sister's name, medium long black haired cat❤️
I wish I had noticed the little gray dot on Tak's white cheek sooner, it's on the right in the pic above. If I had I would have pushed for the names Marilyn Monroe & Black Betty instead of Tak & Gaz (names are from Invader Zim (cartoon TV show). We've kinda taken to calling "Tak" "Tah-kiki" though... Flows better. I call Gaz "Spazie Gazie", lol.
