I swear domesticated raccoons would be the best, their temperament is already chiller than the kitty's!

Except when they disembowel cats and small dogs.

Though to be fair to trash pandas, wild cats would do the same.

There are plenty of domesticated raccoons that live in harmony with other dogs and cats. They are not just plucked from the wild though.
