Where to rent a hybrid vehicle
I am looking to rent a hybrid vehicle for the month of August. Picking up in Montana and returning in Colorado - so a one-way rental. Where can I search to find which car rental companies, if any, have hybrids available for rent? The info. I found so far is that some of major carriers have hyrbrids in their fleet but they are not a specifically designated class for rental? In other words, it's the luck of the draw if there's one on site when you pick up your rental? I will be on the road the entire month so really would like a hybrid to save on the gas!

Turo. I've used it a bunch. It's great for stuff like this, where you want a specific car.

Go to Avis.com or hertz.com, but in your dates, then it will say ," select your car". They have several electric options. Car, SUV, midsize , etc. At least in big cities. I'm not sure about Bozeman Mt.

Hybrid is a hit or miss. I have either been given gas or electric. depending on the car size you want & if you will be driving on highway or local streets - it may end up costing the same in gas.

No one will guarantee you a hybrid and even if they say they will it is luck of the draw when you get there if they have it in stock when you arrive. If it's a one way rental most places are not going to give you their best cars either.
