I really love history and have felt a strong pull to visit Turkey, Iraq, and Jordan.

Then why don't you investigate those options?

If you want something way easier then the so-called Banana Pancake Trail throughout SE Asia is safe, affordable and very straightforward. Loads of history too.

Have fun with your research and good luck no matter what you decide.

I will look into this. Do you have advice on how to go about visiting Iraq? I would love to but Im nervous obviously. I really want to see Babylon. Thanks for the luck btw! I need it recently.

It's easy to research Iraq. It has obviously been a shit show for ages but there's a certain segment of the traveller/influencer/etc. market that is making it (and Iran, Afghanistan, etc.) click-worthy destinations for their social media. Here's one example. And another one. Etc.

Research. Research. Research.

Happy travels.

See you on the news. Why do people insist on going to war zones and places lacking a working judicial system?

Why not lose yourself in Amsterdam for a while?

Try Vietnam. I hear it’s absolutely beautiful.
