Red cedar hollow form
Finished with Tung oil. I plan on putting another coat on but I couldn't wait to share.

I found red cedar to be notoriously hard to turn without risk of explosion. Well done!

Thank you! I have had a couple of pieces blow up in my face. I started taking less aggressive cuts and slowed the speed down. I've had better luck since. Or maybe I'm getting lucky haha.

Great job but are those tool/sanding marks??

Probably! I work 60 hours a week so some of my turnings are rushed. I find the only ones who notice are fellow turners.
