newbie Set-up sourced from Facebook marketplace for $250
I did some turning when I was younger in shop class and have the itch to get back into it.
I will take any and all criticisms and recommendations. Drove all over my city to get all of them, but I think it’s not too shabby of a starting point for the price.

Move the lathe more central to the room to allow a better approach to the work from the headstock side.
Additionally, you can then move your drill press and bandsaw away from the corners which will let you work with larger pieces.

Great idea, luckily everything is on wheels so it’s all easy to move around.

Nice!
I'm speaking from experience with that headstock approach. My drill press is practically in the same spot and i have a miter saw where you have your bandsaw. I hit the wall constantly with boards wishing i had a larger less cluttered shop.
Maybe you could put tool storage in those corners.

I plan on mainly turning pens and bowls. At first at least, the tool storage is a great idea. I plan on taking advantage of the peg board and the shelf for wood storage

You'll also need some place to store chucks l, sharpening equipment, finishing materials, etc.
Make sure the cabinet or drawer closes tightly or it will be packed with dust and chips in no time.

Also great advice. I’m working on finding an inexpensive work bench on FBM currently, maybe a toolbox would be better

Looks right for the price! Agree with the recommendation to pull the drill press and bandsaw out of the corners and sort of give each tool its own wall to live on. Alternatively, can’t really tell for sure the picture, but could maybe put the tools on opposing walls, say lathe on the right and other two on the left. Keep tool storage on the back wall so you don’t have to reach over the lathe.
