Does switch level loading not work?

Is there any way to get custom levels to load on the switch? The level net errors out. And all the levels on this subreddit are supposedly invalid. When I enter the code it says it is unable to validate. My switch has a good internet connection and has the NSO subscription if that matters

I just had to restart the game. It seems that if anything goes wrong, the game will not retry. It will just stay in an errored state
