Mid-Cultivation / Still Growing Time to throw this one away?
Looking like this ones contaminated :( I've got 1 other bag which I innoculated at the same time, that one's looking kinda the same, but without the bluey greenie patch. Should I throw this bag out now?

Yes, probably the other one too, looks like wet rot. It should be white.

Yeah, the other one's looking similar TBH. I guess I'll get rid of them lol. Will try again I used the remainder of my spores to innoculate some Liquid Culture and a BRF jar. I'll see how those will progress and hopefully can try UB Tek again... I'm pretty sure I accidentally injected way too much of the MSS syringe into these bags 🥲

Definitely don't need much for UB. Half a cc is usually enough.

Fortunately I bought 3 other bags of a different microwave rice which looks like it's got less moisture. I've just innoc'd those 3 and made sure to only use between .3 and .5cc which was the remainder of my spore syringe :) I've got a few drops left which I'll put into Agar 😊

I did this...syringe got stuck and I accidently pushed in too much water / spore.

I would try a different brand of rice. I hear UB is too wet.

This brand wasn't UB, it was a supermarket brand here in the UK called Sainsbury's :) I did pick up a different brand now though and have tried again just today. Will monitor and see how this one progresses 😊
