Perfectionism is a branch of OCD, you get so obsessed with the planning and making everything perfect that you get overwhelmed and unable to act.
3 u/dbx99 May 30 '17 I had a touch of that as a child. I'd have to have my desk cleaned and organized perfectly before I could start doing my homework. I've relaxed that. My desk is kind of a mess but it doesn't stop me from going forward with tasks that need doing. 9 u/zzpops May 30 '17 That's a form of OCD, the one most people are familiar with.
