Well, it was mostly the open source AI that did it. Companies spent half a billion getting their AI models up and running, then someone is like "here's it for free".

That doesn't explain why their rivals, like Meta and Microsoft didn't take half the beating that Nvidia and AMD did. Certainly inside info.
