Not really. The US has been using influence to control world trade for years - particularly through the dollar as reserve currency. Thats why BRICS exists.

It would take a few years but those markets would start to open up and the world will learn to bypass the US where it can.

We have the biggest moves on the most active president since any of us have been alive. He's old, he's extremely active. For an old dude. Denied power, attempted coup, and many assassination attempts. Strong left, and strong right! He's actually doing something! Listened to the people from his loss and win through presidencies! This will be the biggest moves in presidential history! For better or worse! You love him or hate him, or nothing in-between. Whatever w have going sicks for everyone, if he makes some positive changes in his decisions. Let them be erratic, boastful, too egotistical. If even some of it gets done it's a win. And we will find out through the first year of his election. Promises kept? Devotion to the future. And can you throw that much power around, without a global catastrophy. And hold that in check. Pretty sure every nation is set for a global catastrophy. In our life time time, kids, grandkids. Dick, inflation is a thing. We're all fighting over the same resources. Some were slaves, and now we're all slaves. To the United global Economy.
