This is (unironically) not too far off from what Google AI engineers make all in. Actually might be an underestimate

Correct. $1k/hr is about $2m per year if turned to salary. Some of these researchers are getting $5m+

$2m is director level. Most of the people actually working on the AI and not just ideating are L5/6 and making $400-$750k

until they simply turn off value of the money you spent... unless you turn it into some physical worth like gold
