Zero days to expire - as in betting the equity / option moves today (upward in the case of the call).

Risky, and option can expire at $0 at the end of the day.

Today I made a 45% profit. Then 100%. Then 150%. Then 230%. Figured that ascension wasnt gonna end. Then it snapped back and I was at -40% and sold at a loss. It’s a risky game.

No I only do 0dte. Also holding into weekend on such a large drop isn't the best. You're taking on large risk for minimum payout

Never do that unless u know 100% that it will drop or go up, which ever direction you would be buying. If not then it would be a gamble.

Depends on retaliatory measures announced this weekend. SPY puts are getting so expensive now though. IV through the roof. I was buying 1DTEs in Wed and then again on Thursday but damn. Mondays were so expensive I didn’t buy any.

You seem smart. Hang in there. Profits are profits. You did great tbh. Next week take a hard look. A bounce is coming. Not sustainable but don’t get caught that one day is my advice. Maybe Monday if tariffs are relaxed this weekend in certain countries. I’m out completely right now. SPY drops below 499 I’m buying Puts like it’s heroin.

I sell early and buy 1DTE usually. When that market opens blood red 0DTE cost is so high. I’m hoping for a green Monday which would be crazy. Then I will buy 2DTEs and reap the rewards. Good like bud. Stay in touch.

Absolutely. I was down a small amount. The fact is most bulls were thinking the tariffs were priced in. I knew better. Wed I bought 7 563s 5 561s and 12 559s. I literally knew it was coming. I don’t understand how others weren’t seeing it. He basically told us for a month this would be different.

Understandable. Shit like that happens to all of us. Learn and move forward. Hell I bought NVDA calls for next Friday with a strike at 204. I took my losses and sold. If we were right all the time nobody would work. I made a ton on SPY puts ( for me anyway) and am waiting till Monday now. No catalyst to get these markets green as of yet imo.
