Masters Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant

Hi! I'm a masters student studying computer science and this is going to be marking the end of my first semester. I just want to prepare for the following semesters, how do I get teaching Assistant or research Assistant positions and are those even a thing here? Any help would be greatly appreciated including things such as who to contact or where to look, or if anyone is even hiring a teaching assistant or research assistant in any case.

Wayne State is a R1 school.

RA positions are posted on the UROP portal. See which ones apply and their last update because some are really old. I recommend applying and then sending an email to the contact with your elevator pitch as well. That’s how I got mine in undergrad.
