CSS Clicker

https://lyra.horse/css-clicker/

CSS Clicker is an idle game themed around making websites.

Your goal is to make your own website and level it up by buying all sorts of upgrades for your site in the pursuit of becoming the most famous website on the interwebs.

This game was written entirely in HTML/CSS and uses no javascript or server-side code. No, seriously, you can disable JavaScript in your browser and the game remains fully functional.

Can you beat my website? I don't think so.

neat but you should have an option to disable/mute or change the volume of the sound (outside of muting the tab manually)

you can mute the sound in the game settings - i wish i could've added volume adjustment but it just isn't possible without javascript

You gotta click too much for it to be a real game, but as a technical display of skill, very very unique and good :)

that's funny because this game features significantly less clicking than most other clicker games :p

Most random thing I've seen in a while.

Not sure if I'm understanding correctly, but the gameplay is just waiting for views counter to go up or artificially increasing it by pressing the button and subsequently unlocking upgrades?

Intro music and animation felt like some high bpm, high pressure stuff, but led into a game where you just either do nothing or click one button. Feels like there's some disconnect there in your theming.

Interesting overall, nonetheless!
