Can anyone tell me about this wine? I got it from my stepdad and I can’t really find it online so I am curious

lol it’s an American BDX blend referencing the Thomas Jefferson bottles bootleg scandal. Great book written about it called The Billionaire’s Vinegar. I have no idea about who made this wine. It probably won’t be good if it wasn’t stored properly.

Jefferson Vineyards Meritage 1995. A vineyard near Monticello in Virginia, on land formerly owned and planted by President TJ. 41% Merlot, 30% Petit Verdot, 29% Cabernet Franc. New releases of their Meritage are around $35. Could be a solid pour.

Been to the winery several times, they make some very enjoyable wines.
