Actively trying to get containers on the water and then hope for an exception to the trade dept. Keep your fingers crossed. Ships were supposed to hit water earlier this week.

I would say probably hold off if that’s the sole reason. I think I got the last one. They might still have the one in the display case, but not sure

Thank you all for the input! Pulled the trigger and ended up getting the last bottle. Appreciate the comments re drinking window, but I guiltily enjoy infanticide from time to time, so I’m comfortable with that aspect (plus read around a bit and saw quite a few suggestions that ‘21 is already thriving)

Considering it's about $2 more than the wholesale price in most states, yes. Go buy it before the Incisa family finds out about it and they get pissed at Costco and pull the wines lol

I picked up a bottle of Tig in June 2024 for $143. I don't know anything about the other wine.

Asking those who know, for how long should a buyer hold onto the 21 Sassicaia for it to be really worth the price before drinking? Age it 7 years? 15? I know it'll last at least that long hut where is the proper value:time ratio?
