How's the radar cross-section of a goose? Can we count on the element of surprise, or will we be relying on overwhelming numbers?

Man, that is one of those images you'd hope to flash back to right before you die.

You may notice that for each of those V formations, one side is always a bit longer than the other. Know why that is?

More geese.

Is this normal? I know that geese migrate but is the number of them in this video a normal migration?

I feel something like love and peace when I see migratory birds on their long journey. It feels so good that they are back every year. Yes, I'm honest, then a tear likes to roll out of the eye. A warm welcome to every traveler!

My brain: Oh shit! Something bad is about to happen. The animals are always the first to know.

Every disaster movie I've ever seen says that you should always run away from whatever the birds are leaving.

No joke I think this group or another one of similar size stopped on my lake in the fall on their way down from Canada. Thousands of them,  I couldn't sleep they were so loud

What are the geese saying/communicating to each other?

I live in the pacific flyway, I often see flocks of this size flying. It never ceases to amaze me.
