Where are you? Can you approximate the size of the animal?

From a cursory glance it looks more dog-like to me

The Netherlands. We have had wolves a few km away from here so it is possible. Yet this animal looks dog like. Sorry dont know its size, this blurry picture is all I have.

Seems more dog-like, but it's hard to get a sense of scale this far away.

Looks like a lost dog than anything else. I'm not seeing anything suggesting wolf. Granted not a whole lot to see. But usually a curled tail is a dead give away

No. Their tails go straight down

Someone’s dog I’m guessing. There are wolves in the Netherlands but the tail makes it seem more dog.

Some domesticated dogs can get to be the same size as a grown wolf so I can see the resemblance

Could be hard to say it could even be a black coyote or a lost black dog

Location is Netherlands. Not a coyote.

Nope although it may be a coy dog based off the structure and color

OP’s in the Netherlands. Europe doesn’t have coyotes.
