So she bravely did every she could to set herself up to be arrested and that takes guts, especially here in FL where law enforcement is often callous at best and frequently rough and mean as hell, especially to people who are "different", not to mention the jails are basically well lit dungeons. Trumps inexplicable obsession with hurting the trans population inspired these fucking hateful laws, many states even insisting that third-option gender neutral restrooms not to be allowed soley to humiliate these women. It's just mean. They talk about women getting raped in bathrooms to excuse these laws to hurt trans people but God damn it I'm pretty sure way more transwomen have been raped and brutalized in mens rooms by now because of them. Going by red state porn habits and attitudes towards women's bodies, I'd wager there's plenty of closeted admirerer transohobe evangelicals and rednecks that would be more happy to corner someone like her in there. Nothing I hate more than people who are too weak minded and religion adled to just be who they are so they actively go out of their way to harm those people because they can't have them just "cuz pastor says Jebus would get mad and spank them to hell" (biblical references to that effect btw: 0. Fucking goose egg. Nada. Go ahead, claim you have one, I'll slap that bible out of your hand and beat the shit out of you with it cuz the Bible doesn't mention trans people one fucking time. It does have Jesus saying pretty damn explicitly that rich people essentially can't get into heaven, presumably because getting rich requires commiting a lot of selfish, shady, fucked up and evil actions.or be born into, which we all know is NOT conducive to not growing up to be a piece of shit and basically guarantees you will be an overconfident moron thanks to never facing and overcoming nearly any real adversity and always getting your way. Where's a radical protestant church advocating for discrimination against and abuse of the rich? Of criminalizing their existence? Most of our vaunted attractions are actually very underwhelming, Miami is actually a dangerous shit hole populated by the meanest people you'll ever meet and you will be judged and valued solely by your looks, clothes, car and bank account. Also, everyone is shockingly dumb, glorifies violence and criminality and are proud of itz based on the drivers alone my have more sociopathic bastards running free here than the rest of earth combined. the Keys are filled with hypocritical MAGAts that overcharge for literally everything and most of our amusement parks kinda suck except Busch Gardens, where they actually do have lots of rides and roller coasters. The others are very underwhelming and expensive for so very little in return. Save your cash and go to Williamsburg, VA back in my home state, they've got the best Busch Garden,s a great and huge water park, milder weather and another huge, ride heavy amusement park a relatively short trip away in Richmond. Florida was largely refounded in the '70 and '80s by the Great Exodus of the Fuck Ups, when millions of failures, crooks and incompetent people moved en masse to Florida for a "second chance" (and it shows). Contrary to Desantis' propaganda, the population has actually shrunken due to housing cost, climate change makinh insurance essentially impossible, sky high car insurance as well thanks to Sociopathy County, colloquially called Miami Dade, hurricanes constantly wiping huge swaths off the map, tropical diseases, extremely high crime rates well above the national average for an areas size, a broken AC unit in summer being a potential death sentence again from climate change, piss poor wages, nearly impossible to access Medicaid and SNAP and a system that will have some laymen bureaucrat override your Social Securiry evaluating physician's determination that you arenin fact disabled despite the money coming from the feds. Yeah, they're that spiteful and cruel. Happened to me when I broke my fucking back!, obscene hidden taxes to make up for that lack of state income tax they pretend is so great but actually only benefits the wealthy and terrible private equity dominated healthcare so bad that if you can survive a one hour flight to literally any other state, you're much more likely to survive.

For some time I have tried to understand what it means to be woke. I have tried to figure out why Trump/Musk/MAGA/Republicans have chosen to make being woke a dirty word. I think I have finally come to my understanding of what it means to be woke, it is called RESPECT! - Respect that all people are not the same - Respect the different sexes, races, beliefs and sexual identities. - Respect that women are sometimes faced with difficult life changes choices with respect to their bodies (yes I am talking about abortion) - Respect that to be human is to help provide for those who can’t, a secure social safety net! - And I am sure there are more reasons to respect! (Help list them all) So if someone calls you woke I now believe they are saying to you, you respect America and the Human race and I should say thank you for the kind words!
