It's been 3 months since I planted these outside in the desert with 3-12% humidity tops.

The secret is the beer box and misting it overnight so it's moist enough to carry the humidity when the sun hits it for 3 hours per day. This is something I've been perfecting for the past year.

Do these look safe for consumption? My spore supplier says these don’t drop spores, is that correct? How much more should I let these mature?

this is my first grow so i’m not exactly sure what i’m looking at, is it primordia or just mycelium. the first 2 pics are the same tub

I think I had a very low yield cos the cake got very dehydrated, going for a second flush with all the pins that were left after a little rehydration. Harvest was about 90g wet so pretty good going for a first attempt. I have more bens bags and made my own MSS to start more bags later this evening.

21/2 days after noc, Decided to check on them in there is this smell idk how to really describe it does that mean potential contam?

Pretty good for that tub I posted earlier. I’ve never been able to get a second flush but the cake seems healthy still. Going for it.

Never really got what I would consider “marshmallow soft” but their little veils did start breaking so, we harvested! Super excited. 480 grams wet.

Just one bins harvest of the first flush of Bluey Vuitton from genetics restored via dry tissue revival (Lazarus Tek), with pictures showing progress from little pins to full fruit chronologically. Lots of fruits averaging in the 25-35g range on average. At the end is a 25lb dumbbell weighing the dehydrator closed because the caps were holding the trays open.

The black stuff on them are spore - well.. hopefully all of it.

Im totally new to this. I woke up to them being all black due to the spores. (See https://ibb.co/album/8g9k1F ) I thought they are bad since I read they lost (all/most of their, as I thought) potency. It kinda ruined my day, I raged a lot (about myself), "harvested" them: I wanted to throw them away, so I put them in a plastic bag and let them sit there the whole day. Till I realized trashing them might be a stupid idea. That's how they look now.

They are more trashed now because of rough handling. The black, sticky spores don't help that case. Not much blue either.
Whats your opinion? Trash them? Not use them, esp. as a total beginner? Or dry them for way later?

Inoculated March 7th

GT in the tubs APE in the bags. I got allll the equipment a few years ago and only did one attempt at pressure cooking grain and it never colonized or turned into bacteria in the jars..... Not to sure.... This go around it appears to be working! Excited to get to the cloning and agar stage. The blocks smell exactly like button cap mushrooms from the store and I love it. I wonder what they will taste like fresh. Wish me luck! (I did mist the tubs after the picture I just had to empty out my alcohol bottle, will get more bottles tomorrow lol only one I knew would be clean)

I won't be able to touch these bags for another week. Should I send them or wait until I get back from my vacation?

Good to eat, lowkey kinda forgot about them. When I flushed them I wrapped them in foil and left them to dry openly (rookie mistake) good to eat? Havent cleaned the dirt off I keep forgetting about them 23g wet havent weighed dry. Add picture of when I wrapped it in foil after a few hours or so

Just noticed some black grains...chuck? Is this contaminated?

I have a bunch of uncle ben bags colonizing, they are about 40% colonized. I just got this tent today. They have been sitting on a shelf at 75 degrees F, and 45% humidity. The tent is set at 77 degrees and 60% humidity (as suggested online for colonization conditions). Should i move them to the tent or would this cause premature fruiting?

I'm a newbie so excuse the question, but when I'm ordering vermiculite it has different mm size...what shall I get? 1-3mm, 3-6mm, or 5-8mm are the options

Quarantined this broken cake. Apparently I was just paranoid because these little guys are coming in regardless if there’s FAE or not 😂. There could be microscopic gap but I was not expecting it to start another flush is this dome.

Yeyeyeee first time clubber :3 I got me 10 bags (or 9 since 1 on the left there failed to be innoculated) of Lidl knock off rice and Golden teacher spores... I did ALOT of research into the sub. Love this place <3

I started on 11th march... went all neat freak. (i also figured id be 'the one who bought one of htose cheapy SAB boxes off amazon. you'd be better off making your own, but i was lazy)

I did that 'Squeezing the bags into bricks. My goodness... doing that, without tearing or puncturing the bags... it was SUCH hard work... Next was injection. now midway for the 2nd bag, issue. the syringe wouldnt plunge (i assumed it was because when i flame burned it. it got stuck?) So im shimmying, trying my hardest not to touch anything... anyways i digess that)

Now I've kept my paws off. holy 'knocked them over' so i could see the window. I didnt wanna risk contam wityh break n shake... maybe if i did, itd be done sooner...

nearly a month now. some look almost 70%... (but a few grains too many and its over...)

I also bought a bucket just yesterday in anticipation.. Im going to soon Pausterize some coir... Just debating if now's the time to begin S2B?...

finally finally, how many? uh... I got some ice cream tubs. figured id do some small ones... (more than 1 basket). for 1 bag, try a fruit frombag...
trying to go for a lazy/cheap way o fthis...

also, it was COLD when i started.. now with April, it's warming up in the UK so... I guess i don't need a heater...
