I believe sharing of a such a personal moment implies that you're looking for something "extra", whether that be consolation, aggrandizement or reassurance. It doesn't necessarily speak to the personal meaning of the situation, but I would argue the sharing of the video implies a lack of fulfillment with the naked, personal moment on its own - which should be just for you and your family.

I guess you could say it doesn't prove anything, either way, but nobody could argue against your point if the video hadn't been shared because then it's obvious there were no ulterior motives.
