As with so many Timbers games, I assume we will go down a goal and then finally wake up in time to tie

LPT: When hosting older people, play music from an era when they were in their 20s.
 in  r/LifeProTips  Mar 05 '25

I 100% agree with this, with one caveat; my dad gets PTSD when listening to music that reminds him of Vietnam. So maybe avoid CCR if your guests are boomers.

Did a new video get deleted?

It’s entirely possible I dreamt this, but I thought I got a notification for a new video about a spa? Color? Custom service? I can’t recall. Just wondering if I missed something.

Thoughts on Indiana Jones And The Great Circle video game?
 in  r/indianajones  Feb 25 '25

I was entertained, mostly only followed the story line because I found the UI frustrating. It would have been nice to have a map HUD so I knew where I was going most of the time. I also don’t care for first person games because I’m prone to motion sickness. I suppose I have more complaints than compliments overall.

The story was great.

Trans dad (mtf) what neighborhood is best for my kids?
 in  r/askportland  Feb 22 '25

I’ve heard a few of my neighbors have pulled their kids out of Lane Middle School due to bullying

I’m glad I’m not the only one that plays this game while listening to true crime. It’s the perfect balance

Peeing/marking inside-belly bands
 in  r/Pomsky  Jan 23 '25

My guy is 4 and he doesn’t pee downstairs anymore but sometimes likes to mark at the top of the stairs, so we don’t let him upstairs without supervision. It’s been a problem since the get-go. Whenever we go to someone else’s house he wears the belly band the whole time. I put menstrual pads inside to keep from having to switch them out so often.

Whenever he pees outside he gets praise STILL.

A "friend" accidentally showed me who he really is.
 in  r/TwoXChromosomes  Jan 20 '25

I empathize. One of my best friends of 15 years dumped me and wrote me a novel about how judgmental I was. “They signed an NDA and took money, they shouldn’t be able to accuse him of rape.” He had slowly become an angry “moderate” incel over the last few years and a few disagreements between us turned into a huge rift. I mourned the loss of the friendship and cried buckets, but it’s for the best.

What are you all doing tomorrow to be at peace?
 in  r/askportland  Jan 20 '25

👏 doing kind things for neighbors has been something that lifts my spirits and reminds me that we can be positive in our little corner of the world

I used to watch every video, but in the last year or so I’ve lost interest 🥴 I preferred the more casual coziness than the big productions.

Former Starfield lead quest designer says we're seeing a 'resurgence of short games' because people are 'becoming fatigued' with 100-hour monsters
 in  r/gaming  Jan 11 '25

Without knowing anything about Starfield other than it was popular, I forced myself into about 10-15 hours waiting for it to get good. I was spending far too much time focusing on how much I was carrying to the point of madness
