Chinatown changing attitudes about Taiwan
When walking through San Francisco Chinatown I noticed the Taiwan flag instead of CCP Flag (People’s Republic of China). I guess this is a show of defiance?

I’m a Chinese American who went back to China in 2009, right in the middle of its tech boom. I founded my own advertising agency and spent over a decade brokering under-the-table deals with Bytedance, Alibaba, and Tencent, laundering money through underground banks, arranging KTV hookers for global execs, and paying off all the right folks to keep business running.
In late 2022, the CCP launched a sweeping crackdown on the advertising industry, arresting top execs on bribery charges. My own agency also got caught in the crossfire - my partner fled to Dubai, while I returned to the U.S.
With nothing left to lose, I wrote a no-holds-barred, Red Roulette-style exposé on China’s advertising industry:
Confessions of a Chinese American Swindler: My Rise, Fall, and Exile From the Cutthroat World of Chinese Advertising
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DVXC2PWL
While Desmond Shum (Author of Red Roulette) focuses more on doing business with the government, mine hones in on the rampant corruption in China's private sector.
Feel free to ask me anything regarding how business is really done in China.
