Follow Up Post: If the Democratic Party Stands with Workers, Why Do Billionaires Keep Funding It?
We all know the GOP stands with Wall Street. That's no secret.
But doesn't the Democratic Party stand with workers?
Not so much. And here are the receipts:
In 2024 alone, Kamala Harris received over $110 million from just three billionaires—Michael Bloomberg, Bill Gates (via PAC), and LinkedIn’s Reid Hoffman. Millions more came from donors connected to Google, Apple, and Microsoft.
That’s not grassroots energy.
That’s investment.
Billionaires aren't altruists. They don't fund threats to their power. They fund what protects it—with better branding.
So ask yourself:
If Democrats truly existed to challenge concentrated wealth, why does concentrated wealth keep backing them?
Maybe what we've called "the left" isn’t left at all.
Maybe it’s just capital in a costume.
This isn’t defending the GOP. It’s acknowledging reality: both parties ultimately serve the same class—just with different marketing strategies.
Let’s call a spade a spade:
When billionaires fund the revolution, it's not a revolution.
It's a product launch.
