I try not to pay much attention to the shitshow politics going on, but on my route, I ran into a protest going on and went to see what it was about on my local area subreddit. Just more complaining about Musk and how we should think of the poor government workers that can no longer mooch of my extorted income.

And some people think it’s just President Trump’s Idea.

Seeing the news from the "Hands off" demonstrations, I'm struck by the ever so consistent pattern of the left to use language in a way which is always opposite of what you'd see in a dictionary.
Staring with "hands off" - what they actually want, is the government hand into everything. (Or maybe a government boot). Now, I haven't seen a poster with "Hands off our hard earned money". Odd.
Then there's "Save our democracy" - meaning elections are only valid if it goes according to my preference.
Oh, and will you look at that, there's a poster with Trump, Vance and Elon as nazis. That's the normal woke way of showing how tolerant they are, I think. Or maybe it's just self-projection.

For pushing benefits, better conditions and wages the workers have the freedom to elaborate and communicate whats bad for them, but can this be made without using governement mechanics or any other left afiliations to avoid spreading ideological propaganda?

Tariffs are legacy projects for statists who want to be remembered as 'fighters' instead of failures. They hijack voluntary trade between free people and turn it into a political stunt, all to get their name in the history books. But here's the catch, you're the one paying the price.
Prices go up. Markets distort. Businesses suffer. And all for what? So a president can claim he 'stood up to China'? So future speeches can say, 'We protected American jobs.' They just ignore how many were quietly lost or never created in the first place.
The truth is, no politician can 'win' a trade war. The only winners are the bureaucrats and cronies who profit off the chaos. Free markets, actual free exchange between people, don’t need tariffs. Statists do. Tariffs are the smoke and mirrors of a dying empire trying to look strong on the way down.
So what’s the point of all these endless arguments and low-effort memes about tariffs? It’s not really about trade. It’s tribal signaling. Politicians want a legacy, partisans want a fight, and the rest of us pay the price.
And if we just sit here meme’ing at each other, nothing changes. The low-effort posts waste your time while they keep the circus going. Drop the noise. Trade should be free because people should be free.

Summary: Wealthy boomers and wage earners, regardless of political affiliation are beginning to express panic amid a drop in the stock market. This reaction highlights the "Numbers Go Up" mindset, where stock market performance is seen as the sole indicator of societal health despite real-world issues like inflation and social decay. This article critiques this unhealthy obsession, noting how panic from a continued drop in the market will be exploited by the elites for their own purposes.
