Looking to power a mini pc on the go

Upvotes

Hello all I’m looking to power this asus nuc 15 pro + at 150 watt requirement using a portable power bank. The only restrictions that I have are that it can’t be too deep (ideally no more than an inch preferably less). The longer it can last on a single charge the better. If anyone has any better ideas other than a power bank please let me know as I am sort of stumped

Looking for a truly free transcription tool for 20–25 min MP3s with background music

Hi! I’m trying to transcribe a few meditation recordings for a spiritual studies course. The MP3s are 20–25 minutes each and have underlaid background music throughout — which makes them hard to listen to and even harder to process with AI voice readers.

I’ve tried some free tools (like Whisper, Vocal Remover, etc.), but most either limit files to 10 minutes, rate-limit my uploads, or make me pay to access the full text. I also tried incognito mode — still no luck.

All I want is a tool that’ll give me a full transcript of the spoken content, music or no music, ideally without needing an account or paying.

Does anyone know a reliable, actually free transcription option that can handle longer, slightly noisy files?

Thanks in advance — I’m just trying to read the material instead of suffering through the narrator’s dramatics and new age flute loops 😭🙏

Retro-Inspired Aio Computer – Seeking Your Feedback

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about a concept for a unique AiO computer that combines classic retro design (inspired by the iMac G3 and vintage CRT displays) with modern functionality. The idea is to create a monitor with a 16:10 aspect ratio where you buy only the chassis—including the display—with dedicated space at the back for user-installed components (motherboard, GPU, CPU, etc.).

Here are a few questions I’d appreciate feedback on:

  • Would this be a viable alternative to traditional desktops or current AiOs? Would you consider buying it?
  • Do you think there’s demand for such a solution?
  • Do you have any concerns about integrating all components into one unit, particularly regarding serviceability or upgradeability?
  • What do you see as the main advantages and drawbacks of such a design?
  • What features would be a must-have for you?

I appreciate any comments, suggestions, or constructive feedback you can offer.

Camera Screen Protector

Hello everyone, I have owned a Galaxy S22 base model for a year and a half. Since purchasing it, I have had a camera protector installed, but I am now finding it difficult to remove. The protector has curved edges, and I suspect that the adhesive may have melted due to the heat last summer. I would appreciate any assistance with removing it as I have already tried using credit cards, dental floss, and my fingernails without success.

my phone keeps restarting itself, how do I fix it?

I have a Motorola G42 that occasionally restarts itself out of nowhere. I had the same problem last year and they changed the battery (it had a hard blow and the battery swelled), I thought it wasn't going to happen again but now it's starting to reboot again, it happens that I play a video, the audio starts to cut out and it just freezes and restarts. I don't want it to end up like last year when it went into a reboot loop and I couldn't get the phone back on, but I really don't know what else to do and I don't have money to buy a new one or change the battery again. Does anyone know what I can do? Could it be because it has almost no storage space? Or because it's already old and dying?

Which is better

I currently have residential fiber internet (1 Gbps) and recently added Verizon 5G Home Internet, which guarantees 200 Mbps. Surprisingly, Verizon seems to perform better overall, though it has slower upload speeds. I mainly use the internet for streaming TV and multiple devices, but I also game regularly. Just wondering how the differences might affect me — any input is appreciated! Verizon 5g Ping: 38ms Download: 303.94 mbps w/ 98%stability Upload: 26 mbps w/ 84% stability Ziply fiber Ping: 43ms Download: 146.76 mbps w/ 92% stability Upload: 212.32 mbps w/ 94% stability
