My god. She gets SO sad if the blacksmith dies. I started avoiding him just so Orin wont kill him
and our unpronouncable-name dragonborn keeps being happy and joyfull ðŸ˜
If you go up to fake Orin in Rivington you can hit her with Contagion to make her boss fight somewhat easier - if you can manage to hit her with both (I recommend Dying Stone Lord Thug and Fist Rowan, for discretion), use slimy doom and flesh rot. One makes her vulnerable to everything and the other makes it so she’s stunned every time she takes damage
Wait, when does she kill him? In my game she just transforms into him and he goes out of his house saying something like "You're the fuckers that hit me in the head? Well, there is nobody else near".
If that happens then she kills him later. I dont know what exactly triggers it, maybe a long rest.
But once you come to his shop, theres just a puddle of blood with letter from Orin in the middle of it.
It states that she prepared him for you and you didnt take your chance. So she went and killed him anyway, so it all wouldnt go to waste.
Doesn't he kill himself anyway because he's depressed? I swear he has a journal that you can read or a letter saying "please talk to a therapist" or something?
Spoiler - If you let the Iron Hand Gnomes die in Act 2 at Moonrise the black smith in Act 3 doesn’t get killed and replaced as he doesn’t provide them Sanctuary in Act 3 so he’s not on Erin’s radar.
