Welcome to the r/Batman Monthly Discussion Thread!
In an effort to improve the quality of content in r/batman, we are going to be limiting some commonly posted topics to these weekly discussion threads. Examples of such topics are:
- Asking for thoughts on an adaptation of a character for a movie or show that has been out for more than one year
- Asking people's thoughts on a recent movie or other adaptation
- Arguing that "Batman has always killed"
- "Who would win" topics, which might be better suited to r/whowouldwin
- Asking people's favorite episodes of a show
- Asking people's favorite or least favorite villains, sidekicks, or other types of characters
- Character comparison posts
- "Erase one' posts
The above list is not complete, and contains just a few common examples. The list will be expanded over time, but ultimately topics moved to weekly discussion threads are subject to moderator discretion.
For a list of recommendations of comics, films, animated films, television and games, please see our extensive wiki entry
Please remember the rules, especially the rule to be civil and treat others with respect. Remember there is a person on the other end of your screen. Attack arguments, not people, and do so without using labels.

GENERAL DISCUSSION Apparently a hot take: i love the giant batfamily

GENERAL DISCUSSION Hot take: saying you don't like the bat family isn't a hot take
Source: wayne family adventures Artist: rhett bloom
Tired of people saying this as if it's ground breaking, you can find 4 posts a week of guys who don't regularly read batman comics who don't read the other characters say they don't like batman to have other supporting characters or they will say the family is to big ( wich i can agree on 100%)
But stop saying it's a hot take it isn't anymore, mabey 3 years ago but it's starting to sound like a film bro who just discovered donnie darko and thinks their some deep edgy artist. I won't lie when you guys say there should be no batfamily you just come of as prentious and look like you read comics outside of batman I'll be real I fully belive if he was a batman fan Eric batman would say the same thing.

GENERAL DISCUSSION Write a story that takes one of these villains seriously as an actual threat to Batman
I respect some of these guys (especially Mad Hatter) but it seems like the general public doesn’t

GENERAL DISCUSSION Is Arkham Batman the best version of Batman?
Honestly this version is just so perfect, the Arkham games are so great, well written, and this version of Batman has the best story. Could this go down as the best version of Batman?

COMIC DISCUSSION Bane has broken T-rexes jaw two times (one with feet) i think it’s kinda an insane thing to do for a human. what do you think?
T-rex feat by Bane was severely under looked. i’m not a dinosaur expert or anything i just used a quick google search of how strong T-rexes jaw was and it shocked me. any dinosaur experts out there ? need y’all thoughts on it.
(also can Bane knock out King Kong?)
