But the smell though. Gotta get used to that rotten eggs or farting olfactory feeling.

There’s a lot of sulphur coming out of those, makes it smell pretty bad. 5 u/Heather82Cs Feb 18 '25 That's true for any sulphur water springs, it's not a Japanese feature. Although it is funny that in some hot springs town you'll be able to purchase soft boiled eggs at public fountains.
