This is such a sweet video and yours is a sweet comment.
But for whatever reason, your comment triggered a flashback to Scott's Tots and the kids singing, "Hey Mr. Scott, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do? Make our dreams come true!"
That's so odd, it was a totally innocuous comment! It was just a couple emojis and a comment about how it's nice to see people making dreams come true.
It clearly means a lot to him. Just because you might not care about soccer doesn't mean it's not important to other people. I'd probably react the same way if someone surprised me with tickets to see my favorite band.
Some people cry when they experience overwhelming happiness. We shouldn't be shaming anyone, but especially young boys, for showing their emotions.
I'm a grown man and a season ticket holder to the dolphins. I've cried at games over the joy of the win or the start of the season. I'm sorry you don't have anything in life you're passionate about. Let people enjoy things, dick.
The fact that it's a soccer game is really unimportant. It's something that means a lot to him and he's overwhelmed with joy. I've seen parents cry when their 5 year old gets an award from kindergarten. We only get to be little boys once. There's no rush to "man up" or be weighed down with the pressure of being a man. He's not a man yet.
