This is such a sweet video and yours is a sweet comment.

But for whatever reason, your comment triggered a flashback to Scott's Tots and the kids singing, "Hey Mr. Scott, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do? Make our dreams come true!"

u/Exact-Till-2739 Feb 28 '25

What was the comment? They deleted it for some reason.

16

u/ShadedSpaces Feb 28 '25

That's so odd, it was a totally innocuous comment! It was just a couple emojis and a comment about how it's nice to see people making dreams come true.

WAIT WAIT WAIT

They’re lithium

u/GiantBrownBalls Feb 28 '25

(Me neither! It gives me second hand cringe so bad that it’s painful…) I love every other episode though.

God forbid a young boy show emotions. We wouldn't want him to grow up to be well-adjusted or anything.

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

Over a soccer game though?

51

u/TonyVstar Feb 28 '25

You're so tough, everyone here thinks you're really tough

28

u/-Jiras Feb 28 '25

Yeah man, I saw this guy's comments and was like "damn that dude must be really tough"

No that one guy said everyone thinks I’m tough 💪

u/Septopuss7 Feb 28 '25

As in "hard-hearted"

10

u/AnnamAvis Feb 28 '25

It clearly means a lot to him. Just because you might not care about soccer doesn't mean it's not important to other people. I'd probably react the same way if someone surprised me with tickets to see my favorite band.

Some people cry when they experience overwhelming happiness. We shouldn't be shaming anyone, but especially young boys, for showing their emotions.

Probably should start with you. You're clearly weak and insecure

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

Good comeback, Bazinga

u/Emergency-Village817 Feb 28 '25

Looks like that one hit a nerve

-1

Thats bullshit. A lot of men have depression and even suicidal thoughts because they were told to "man up" and not tell people about their feelings.

-1

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

Depression now? We’re talking about a soccer game lol

9

u/lmnotreal Feb 28 '25

You're the type of guy to brag about how little sleep you got the night before.

-1

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

I actually slept well

8

u/lemonTOcamarillo Feb 28 '25

I'm a grown man and a season ticket holder to the dolphins. I've cried at games over the joy of the win or the start of the season. I'm sorry you don't have anything in life you're passionate about. Let people enjoy things, dick.

0

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

I can imagine why Dolphins fans would be crying lol

2

u/lemonTOcamarillo Feb 28 '25

Let me down easy bro. Its hard out here as a dolphins fan.

6

u/lamposteds Feb 28 '25

0

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

Football 🏈, soccer ⚽️

9

u/Electrical-Leave818 Feb 28 '25

3

u/NLawton91 Feb 28 '25

3

u/Negative_Month_5021 Feb 28 '25

0

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

It still a soccer game

3

u/Negative_Month_5021 Feb 28 '25

Yes and that's his passion. We're getting somewhere here I can feel it.

8

u/BulbasaurRanch Feb 28 '25

I really hope you don’t have children. Those poor kids :(

-3

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

My kids wouldn’t cry over a soccer game

14

u/SmallHungryShark Feb 28 '25

Yeah, they would probably cry over you being their dad instead

-1

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

They don’t have a choice

3

u/Lucky-Earther Feb 28 '25

Why not

-1

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

Because it’s just…soccer?

7

u/Lucky-Earther Feb 28 '25

The video is clearly a bit more than just soccer

-4

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

Well yeah it’s crying and soccer

2

u/Lucky-Earther Feb 28 '25

Yes, joy can sometimes produce tears.

-1

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

Maybe but this is full blown crying

[Deleted comment along the lines of "he's a cry baby"]

You sound like someone didn't let you cry when you needed it.

It's not manly to put others down you dweeb

1

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

It’s not manly to call someone a dweeb

6

u/Lazy__Astronaut Feb 28 '25

Sorry for that, cunt

Better?

1

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

There’s children here

5

u/Axxisol Feb 28 '25

-5

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

Weird reply

6

u/Nahmsayin1 Feb 28 '25

That's why your previous comment was deleted right?

1

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

I didn’t delete anything?

3

u/Nahmsayin1 Feb 28 '25

Lol you don't have to be the one deleting. The comment getting deleted was already enough proof that it was weird

0

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

I don’t see any comments having been deleted

9

u/HarpuaTheDog Feb 28 '25

God forbid a male shows emotions.

This comment is a prime example of toxic masculinity.

0

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

Any gender, why cry over a soccer game?

2

u/SirLesbian Feb 28 '25

The fact that it's a soccer game is really unimportant. It's something that means a lot to him and he's overwhelmed with joy. I've seen parents cry when their 5 year old gets an award from kindergarten. We only get to be little boys once. There's no rush to "man up" or be weighed down with the pressure of being a man. He's not a man yet.

0

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 28 '25

I’m actually a man child so
