I've always wanted to have access to this pier since I saw it growing up.
At least one thing is looking up!

Is there plans to further extend it like ... originally planned?
Wasn't the point to make it a loop that loops back around to Little Squalicum Beach?

I dont think so. There was a pier that looped back, but it just carried a pipeline, no decking. That was demolished a couple years ago.

That's just when they could schedule the celebration and get all 4 Mayors together to cut the ribbon.
