Doco for XT6

Does anyone know of a site, or a place to get DOCO on a 2023 XT6;

Specifically I am looking for something like the GMUpfitter site; but GMUpfitter is almost entirely about trucks.
I did find some partial info on the XT5, but was hoping for XT6.
Anyone know of a site like that?

2025 Cadillac XT4, should I buy?

I've been looking at SUVs for a while, looking for something that was affordable (less than 900 CAD) a month, could fit two car seats, and was a nice looking vehicle. And out of all of the vehicles I have taken for a test drive, the Cadillac was the only one that actually impressed me as far as interior and exterior that was within budget. Lexus, Acura, etc were all pretty high and even the Rav-4 came to the same price as the Cadillac xt4 (maybe that's a sign??). Technology was great because it's a sport with almost everything included but I'm just concerned about reliability. It's my first new vehicle I have ever purchased, everything else I've owned has been used and I didn't have much of a choice. This vehicle would either be a lease for 4 years, or finance for 7 years for almost the same price of 820$ CAD a month. Looking for advice from Cadillac owners.

Would you recommend or should I look elsewhere? I haven't seen many reviews or realibility reports for the 2025 XT4 sport. Also really not sure if its smarter to lease for 4 years while warranty is active or finance for 7 years and risk something going wrong after. For reference the xt4 comes to roughly 58k CAD. Appreciate any input. Thanks!

2005 DeVille maintenance

Recently purchased a 2005 DeVille, was wondering if anyone had a list of recommended maintenence to get done to make sure she stays smooth and running. Has about 191,000 miles, runs well (well it did but I need to get a trans fluid change). Recently had the crankcase breather hose break, fixed that, that's all the maintenance I've done so far. I have a code for the suspension compressor and passanger/rear ac, and the air bag sensor, other than that it seems pretty good. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, obviously I want to get a full tune up in general but I'm taking it in steps as I'm currently living out of said car while I try to fix her up.

XT6; Installing a rear facing DashCam - OR running a cable from Front to rear in overhead

Has anyone installed a rear facing DashCam in an XT6?

Or even removed or loosened the headliner and/or pillar trim(s) to run a video cable to a rear facing dash cam, or something similar.
I don't want to take my whole car apart to run a cable from the back window to the front dash.

Has anyone done it, or have any recommendations for Videos to watch for how-to?

Clean Title
History Report Looks Good
One thing is bothering me.

The passenger side door hand doesn't match the other 3. Oddly enough, it seems to match the paint paint "tri-color white," but the other three seem off, has anyone ever seen this, it is giving me some odd vibes. The other 3 are almost an off white, which one is right or is this normal?

Hi there, I’m new to Cadillac, this is my first one and I had it for about a month, I got a scanner and got these codes, any recommendations for fixes? Should I be concerned? I took it to Firestone to get it checked out they told me the same thing about the grille shutter. I had work on it about a month ago to get some scratches off the bumper from when I bought the car, could that have triggered the code to go off? There was never any lights on the dash board or check engine light. I just reset the codes with my car scanner, hopefully it does the trick.

Imbalanced Comparison - CT5 vs Malibu

Thumbnail
gallery
25 Upvotes

Not here to share an opinion just to shake up a common ethos for individuals comparing Chevrolet offerings with Cadillac; particularly the comparison between the Chevy Malibu & Cadillac CT5. Considering the fact that the two are not even built on the same GM platform (Epsilon vs Alpha 2), and the driving dynamics are not all that similar - I would love to get a better idea of why anyone feels that these two vehicles are comparable.

I hear it all the time from Euro fanboys and auto vloggers that review the CT5 with a bias against GM products.

Here’s a collage of pictures from over the past 14 years that I’ve owned my 2000 Escalade. Still making look, still holding road presence, still one of the most comfortable rides. Bought with 159k on it and now have 280k and still have plenty of miles yet to go and enjoy the journey! An I’m adding a pic of a great 2pac and guru tracks to ride to. 🍻

Some black bullet hole American racing wheels with big old spiked lugs is a little more my speed. Really enjoying this ride.
