Debates will change more things for sure. Until then Pierre should keep talking about policies.

The Conservatives have won the popular vote in the last few elections. But winning isn’t about how many people you can pack into a room—it’s about how that support translates into individual ridings. I understand that many casual supporters see huge crowds and think, “This is incredible.” And yes, it's exciting, and it does reflect a level of national enthusiasm. But national support doesn’t always equal electoral success. It’s seat count that matters.
That’s why I’d be far more interested in what each party is hearing on the ground in key ridings. Local momentum, voter sentiment, and candidate strength are far more telling indicators of who’s actually positioned to win seats than any national poll or political rally.

A rally is a measure of the base’s enthusiasm, the median swing voter is not attending rallies lmao.

u/BobetteMielleuse 1d ago
The polls can't lie that much, there's a general trend, we can compare with Polymarket too. 3-4 points like with the American elections, ok, but here we have a complete crush. Very sadly.

Liberal voters aren't generally rally people. I think the polls are indicative.

This is ridiculous. Crowd size is not a legitimate measure of voter turnout or intent.

It's not, but it is encouraging to see. Let ppl be encouraged! And obviously, everyone go vote!!!!!

Hey Silky man, first I think you need to tone down your hostility, you don’t treat other human beings like that no matter what. Listen man, can you please tell us how electing a liberal government that has been control for the past 10 years help Canada and the average citizen? Their is mountains and mountains of evidence against them. PP has alreday said he has no intention of ever letting Canada become part of the USA, your just making a conspiracy theory about him, for only two possible reasons I can think of. A) your a liberal who just wants the liberal party to win again so you use an excuse you can find to de credit PP or B) Your not the sharpest tool in the shed. I really hope it’s A because then I could give you credit for being intelligent. I would also highly suggest you u research Carney more, he wrote a book about his beliefs basically called “Values”, he states that you, a average citizen are “morally corrupt, idiots, who waste their value, aka their money, and they need guidance from carney who is cut from finer cloth”. How can you accuse others of being cultists when this guy literally is writing this garbage. Carney is also a known globalist which please don’t tell me you are one to, globalist desire one government around the world, no borders, no traditions, no culture, they just want to be one big country, and that can’t work for obvious reasons.

Dude, you are literally look like a total dumbass right now.
Read out what you just said. You told someone to stop believing in religion over a comment pointing out how you're likely brigading.

Wanting to silence opposition views sounds very fascist to me… oh wait YOU can’t be fascist because WE are supposed to be fascist! Oh the PERFECT liberal party would never actually be bad! I’m sorry King Carney your eminence, I will never step out of line again! You’re a joke u/SilkyTouchy

u/SilkyTouchy 1d ago
Im not trying to silence you you can say whatever you it's just not an opinion worthy of being heard. But you really have to stop otherwise im calling my friends at the ccp ro deport you in el Salvador

u/OkEgg5302 Conservative 1d ago
So not everyone is worth being heard? Still fascist. Also you’re going to call your friends at the Chinese Communist Party, (CCP is China CPC is Canada) to deport me who has lived in Canada my whole life born to Canadian parents? This isn’t the USA buddy and Pierre isn’t trump, get a hold of yourself and consider how you just advocated for the thing trump is doing (deporting people arbitrarily). If you still have the shame to respond you better have a real argument.

How has calling voters like me Liberals been working out?
1
u/TheeDirtyToast 1d ago
What exactly are you Mr "Red Tory"?
You're the one who came here shitting on Pierre for drawing record numbers of Canadians to his rallies.
I never called you a liberal either, but hey as for how it's turning out I'll let you know in a couple weeks but I have a feeling Mr Davos will be headed back home to New York with his Brookfield buddies.

u/Sunshinehaiku Red Tory 1d ago
What exactly are you Mr "Red Tory"?
A conservative in Canada can easily answer this question, particularly at this moment where Red Toryism is in vogue.
2
u/TheeDirtyToast 1d ago
If that is what the liberal party is trying to sell to Canadians then it's gonna be a no from me. That's ultra progressive pretending not to be IMO.
1
u/Sunshinehaiku Red Tory 1d ago
Are you willing to sacrifice the big tent party for your view?
2
u/TheeDirtyToast 1d ago
I don't think the Conservative base is at risk of splitting, if that's what you're asking.

I mean Kamala somehow spent 1 billion on that campaign and is currently 20 million in debt; where the hell that money went I don't know.

Just remember, many people who might not be overly political or care enough to go to a rally are still going to vote L because conservatives are bad and PP is also Trump, or some other nonsense reason.
