Tech Support Shorting issue

So I'm trying to wire 2 10w1v3-4 JL subs to my amp but everytime i connect both it shorts. if i leave the one that shorts disconnected or swap it with a kicker cvr it doesn't short and works fine. can anyone tell me why it keeps shorting? it can't be the wiring or amp since using a different sub doesn't short it so im kinda lost

What if you connect only the one that shorts?

it doesn't short but it sounds like slappy or rattley

My guess would be it's blown then. If you want to verify if it is, read for example this.

Depends on the nature of the defect I guess ... I'd ask an authorized JL Audio dealer about it.
