Tech Support Recently got new Helix Amps with a DSP and the DIRECTOR. However when I restart my car it resets all the settings (like display rotation & color) how do I stop this from happening?

I assume you have the Control Input version of the DIRECTOR. Make sure its power wiring is good, and that its positive wire is connected to a terminal that constantly provides power.

Yeah I have the control input version. My local audio shop did the full install so I'm not sure about the constant power terminal, but if bad power wiring would be the issue wouldn't that also have an impact while under regular use?

When the car is running everything works beautifully and there's no cutting out or the display turning off or anything. When I turn off all audio input the display goes dark, I am not sure if it turns off or resets the settings or anything haven't checked that yet.

I don't know in detail how the DIRECTOR works internally, but I think the reason why it has separate power wires is to be able to permanently store its settings, which in turn requires a constant positive connection. In your case, it might be connected to a positive terminal that only has power when the car is running, or its ignition switch is in ACC position at least.

But if your local audio shop did the install, just ask them to check and fix it for you.
