Thanks! This was a while ago so I'm much better now (I mean with that kind of care, how can't I?)

I was really ill for 2 years. My cat never left my side. He lost his fur and vet couldn’t find anything wrong. Put him on a special diet. When I got well, all his fur grew back. My dear dear sweetheart Bailey.

Fur-lined nurse for comfort. My cat does that when I'm not feeling well.

I dislocated my knee cap.

I do, indeed!

Ouch!

I did a full ACL tear and bucket handle meniscus tear a couple years ago. The surgery and recovery is brutal. Hopefully you recover well or are recovered now.

Getting old sucks.

Yeah, it happened the third time so I decided to get surgery at the end of november. I'm still recovering but a lot better. I went to a rehab facility for 4 weeks, that helped a lot.

And it sadly has nothing to do with getting old. I had the same issues with my other leg when I was a kid.

That sucks. Mine was pushing my knees too hard and being too old. Paid the price.

It is not fun having life long issues like that.

I dont have knee caps that bad but mine do move to the outside when bending because the inside tendon is way longer/looser than the outside and has been that way forever. Not enough to do surgery but it is there. Been that way since forever.

Clearly she specializes in cuddle therapy and purr medicine!

So sweet! My cat did this after my elbow surgery. Only problem was he wanted to lay over my chest and lay head on my arm in the sling. Hurt so bad but he was trying to heal me by laying on me and purring

One of our cats would herd me into the bedroom and literally perch on top of my bad hip and purr like a motorboat. He was a good cat and I miss him a lot.
