How will people remember this game?

I was reflecting on the fact that deep Cinderella runs seem to be fading out a bit more each year and thinking back to some Cinderellas we don't seem to hear much from anymore.
What happened to Loyola Chicago? Is Sister Jean still around cheering them on?
What about Butler or VCU?
Perhaps the most puzzling to me is Wichita State. Won the NIT, made the Final 4 as an unheard of 9 seed, and went undefeated up until losing to eventual runner-up Kentucky in the round of 32 the next year. I know they moved to the AAC and looked poised to be next Gonzaga but I haven't heard anything about them since.
It seems for Cinderellas, it is the exception, and not the norm, that such a run at The Dance can elevate the stature of a program for the long term. There is a bittersweetness to this because, seeing as this is the first final 4 I can recall with all 1 seeds, it feels that perhaps the changes to the college landscape very well have made endearing Cinderella runs a memory we will look back on with nostalgia as opposed to being able to excitedly anticipate in the future.

I’m a relatively new basketball fan.
My friend is a die-hard Duke fan, so I’ve been following them this season. After the loss to Houston last night, I realized that every comment about Duke has been people just brutally dumping on them. Can someone explain to me why they’re so hated? Whenever I ask, people tend not to have a great answer as to why they hate them….they “just do”.

The first round, second round, Sweet 16, and Elite 8 rounds for the women are 1 day after the men's games.
But the Final Four and National Championship rounds for the women are both 1 day before the men.
Why is this? It seems really weird to me.

A back and forth absolute war in game 1 with stars throwing haymakers all over the court, and in game 2 the talent filled young team that hadn’t been put in situations where they needed to close out games faced that and didn’t live up to it, while the team that lives on grit and finding a way to win somehow found a way once again. Has there been a better 2 games in history?

Barry Evans committed the other day. Averaged 13.3pts/6.8reb with 1 year remaining
Keyshawn Mitchell averaged 8.5/6.8 and has 2 years remaining
First two commits for Martelli Jr at VCU and now puts the VCU roster at 5 as of right now.

Kellen Sampson seems like a good hire for a school digging for someone with sky high potential. He’s learned a lot from his dad and seems more charismatic than kelvin, who always comes across as kind of grouchy.

Missed the inbound pass and allowed the shorter Mylik Wilson tip the ball to Houston.
Missed the rebound and allowed Joseph Tugler to dunk the ball to bring the game within 1.
Missed the shot after the timeout to potentially take the lead.
Missed the inbound pass and allowed the shorter LJ Cryer to tip the ball away.
I’m not trying to beat up on Flagg and act like he’s not a generational player, and I know everyone wants to talk about the terrible foul call. But there were opportunities for him to seal the game for Duke. Also, let’s give credit to the tight Houston defense.
Duke got slapped in the face late and they didn’t know how to react. Their inexperience in tight late game situations cost them the game. And their conditioning showed that as well, they were tired.
