PIC [PIC] I've seen a lot of people asking around about making patches, so I made a tutorial on how I make mine!

This is perfect! What about putting velcro on the back, instead of iron on? This is by far the best tutorial I've found, but there's nothing out there about velcro.

I've never thought about using velcro! That would be really cool for interchangeable patches on a board or backpack or something... I have no experience with it, but I imagine you could cut out a piece the same size as the finished patch and sew it together while doing the whip stitchrd edges (though that would be a pain for oddly shaped patches) or if it has an adhesive just stick it on after the fact instead of iron-on adhesive.

Twewy and Ace attorney!!! I can't even! Ive just begun cross stitch and I was honestly wondering what I can make with it past a few framed pieces. Well now I know!
(Also a Phoenix applique seems easier than a crocheted figure lol).

I actually got into cross stitching specifically because I also do pixel art! It seemed like such a natural fit haha. The first thing I ever did was a Franziska sprite and to this day I mostly do video game stuff. Good luck, I'm glad this tutorial continues to be helpful!

I'm definitely going to do Edgeworth and Gumshoe 🥹 I've decided I need a magnetic corkboard just to display/switch out cross stitched fandom magnets(also because official merch is too expensive for me lol).

Magnetic corkboard sounds like a great idea, definitely post when you're done!! I've never thought of turning my cross stitches into magnets... might have to now lol

I hope this is useful! Please let me know if I can help clarify anything.
All of the patches shown are self-drafted, either from scratch (Sayonara Wild Hearts, TWEWY, and Utena), from official artwork (all the Ace Attorney patches), or modified from Google (the D20).
Here's a link to an imgur upload that might be easier to read.
