You just know the locals hate the LexCorp building for ruining the skyline

I love how the heritage looking Daily Planet building contrasts with the modern soulless LexCorp building.

I love how distinctive the Daily Planet building looks in the skyline.

I love that Superman can sit on the roof / globe and see LexCorp. Reminds me of some scenes in STAS where he would do recon by looking into Lex's office.. etc

That view from the top of Lex Tower sure is sweet.

I hope that's not Gotham across the river, I hated when snyder made them side by side cities.

That was from the comics.

Also it makes sense for them to be next to each other because they are always crossing over.

And superman not knowing anything about batman after 18 months even though he can see the signal from Metropolis?

I love applying realism to superhero media and sucking the joy out of it it's so much fun

If they're that close then superman would just patrol both cities.

I am pretty sure he patrols the world.

He literally does. I'm not sure why people are so adamant about arguing about this

It’s Snyder. So, gotta give him grief over dumb superficial stuff.

He didn't know a vigilante who has a light shine into the sky so bright lex luthor can see it from the top of his building, is right next to him so how can he patrol the whole world.

the film seems to subscribe to the batman is an urban legend idea

You can see the signal from Metropolis and the cops, and citizens know he's real. Perry white even knows about him.

The signal could be seen as a form of intimidation. Perry may know about the legend but believe he is just that.

You're making excuses. It's obvious in the movie batman is known. No reason superman missed it, except lazy writing. They had to even add the I didn't think you were real line in JL retroactively to combat it

Snyder didn't make them that.

Its been that way for a while. Just look at Lego Batman 2, a game that precedes BvS by 4 years.
