You can see the signal from Metropolis and the cops, and citizens know he's real. Perry white even knows about him.

The signal could be seen as a form of intimidation. Perry may know about the legend but believe he is just that.

You're making excuses. It's obvious in the movie batman is known. No reason superman missed it, except lazy writing. They had to even add the I didn't think you were real line in JL retroactively to combat it

nothing to combat

Cool. Superman just saw the signal and said nah I'll just stay over here. No reason to see what that's all about. Also never heard of Bruce Wayne. The richest person in the area who owns a newspaper in Metropolis and has an entire wayne office building there as well.

He has been active about a year.

Batman didn't start to become brutal until a little after that so he left Gotham alone for the most part.

18 months says so right in the movie. And That's very different than what the movie portrays which is he has no no idea who Bruce Wayne is or ever heard about batman despite a mountain of evidence showing both exist.

Where is it said he doesn’t know about Batman? It’s implied that Batman’s brutality is a recent development. That’s what piques Clark’s interest, and leads him into investigating Batman.

Also, Bruce was like 40 feet away when he got out of his car.

In the movie when Clark is told about batman and he has no idea who that is. And Clark. Has no idea who Bruce Wayne is. I like these movies. But blindly acting like there's no flaws when these are the same things that have been pointed out for almost a decade is delusional

every single superhero movie has flaws cause superhero/powers ≠ logic

Very true. But these things were from bad writing that should not have made the final edit. It reflects poorly on the characters and makes you ask questions you shouldn't be during the film and we're easily fixable. The play things close to the chest linen in dark knight that Bruce says to Fox and then later dent says to Gordon, drives me crazy every time I watch that movie and it's one of the best movies of all time.
