Only ten minutes? The amc i go to normally has at least twenty minutes after the “start” time

Ya, the AMC ticket taker once told me it is roughly standardized to 22 minutes following the advertised "start time". I don't know if that is true, but it has changed my moviegoing experience.

I once got to my theater twenty minutes late and there were still like 2-3 movie trailers left

I am currently living in a place where I rely on public transit for everything, so I have to time my theater visits specifically.
