Feeling way hungrier at night

Long time lurker, first time poster. Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find it.

Does anyone else feel waaaaay hungrier at night than during the day? My sleep routine is usually 3 am to 11pm, and I'm lucky to have a job that can accomodate that. But, during lunch, usually between 12pm and 1pm I feel next to no hunger, I pick at my food and usually can't finish a single plate. Then, during the day, I eat a little, but when night comes I feel a huge hunger spike, and want to eat everything in the house throughout the entire night. Does anyone else feel the same? My theory is that it's related to a delayed methabolism, but I'd like to hear some other opinions.

Yep! Constantly struggling with nighttime hunger, especially while trying to lose weight. I tend to eat lightly during the day so I can save as many calories as possible for nighttime 🥲

Same. I've never consistently eaten breakfast. Even on days where I have to be up.early, I normally don't really get hungry before lunchtime. If I overeat during the day, it's usually because of anxiety. If I get to get up at my own time, I normally don't eat before around 4 pm.

It's so frustrating while trying to lose weight. I congratulate myself in the evening for not eating much, and then I suddenly get all the cravings at like 10 pm and put in a full day's worth of calories, if not more, within what feels like half an hour.

It is a real struggle! I can put away some food, too 😅 I just keep trying to remind myself that I want weight loss results more than I want food, haha. I try to keep busy with work or hobbies and that helps a little.
